The most common surgical procedure is a blepharoplasty or ptosis repair, which tightens or repositions the muscles responsible for lifting the eyelid. In cases caused by neurological or muscular conditions, addressing the underlying disorder is essential. Non-surgical treatments, such as special eyeglasses with a crutch that supports the eyelid, may also be considered for temporary relief.
